Ashtanga II/III with Tina Ward

This class will begin with the traditional Ashtanga primary series, flowing through sun salutations and lots of standing postures, and working up to inversions, challenging balancing poses, and a floor sequence that you can count on to make you sweaty and, in the end, relaxed & accomplished. This is for the intermediate to advanced student.

Personal Training with Trisha Kaufman
Personal training can help people achieve their goals. Whether you want to lose weight, build muscle, or reshape your body we can help. Private appointment times are scheduled at your convenience and at a location most accessible to you; at home, in Tsubo’s studio, or at your office.
Each program includes a detailed weekly plan teaching how to be successful on your own. This knowledge will give you the confidence to stay healthy for the rest of your life.

Trisha is an ACE certified personal trainer and certified SPIN instructor. She has trained over 100 cylists for 50+ mile rides as well as women starting exercise for the first time in their lives. She has personal experience as a vetran member of USA Triathlon and an avid cross country skier.

Personal training intro sessions include client history, goal setting, and workout.

personal training rates:
3-session private package $195
3-session semi-private package $150

Packages include one 90-minute intro session covering client history, goal setting, and workout, and two 60 minute workout sessions. Other packages available by consultation.

Boot Camp with Jenn Shanley

Boot Camp is a great way to jumpstart or change up your fitness routine. This one-hour class focuses on improving cardio, strength, agility, balance, and more.

Jenn is a certified personal trainer through the National Personal Training Institute and a certified Spinning instructor through Mad Dogg Athletics. She ran weekly half-hour boot camps at NPTI for Aon Center employees during her schooling. She also skates with and runs weekly two-hour boot camps for a Chicago roller derby league.

Developed by legendary physical trainer Joseph H. Pilates, the Pilates Method is an exercise system which focuses on increasing flexibility and strength to build more defined, longer, leaner muscles. Each exercise, performed with few repetitions, emphasizes precise movement, requiring proper control and form. Through the work, the abdomen, gluteals and lower back are supported and strengthened, enabling the body to move more efficiently and freely.
